Women Empowerment Cell

Introduction

The Women Empowerment cell envisions to create a campus culture that values and upholds the rights and wellbeing of women. Keeping this in view, the cell organizes programs related to women's issues, status, safety and health for the students. Through these programmes, the cell aims to instill positive confidence and self-esteem to help them take right decisions which would improve their quality of life and personal development.

Objectives of the Cell

1. To create awareness on various issues and problems of women and in particular regarding gender equality.
2. To organize talk, seminars and practical activity relating to women's mental health and overall personality.
3. To encourage female students to be self-reliant and economically independent.

Roles and Functions

1. The cell organizes and participates in seminars, workshops and addresses women issues and problems in the college.
2. It strives to provide platforms for women to share their experiences and views with regard to their status, challenges in the society and suggest ways to improve and empower themselves.
